Klosse J. Wistbacka (b. 1982) is a Finnish composer, sound editor and music producer who has scored and supervised sound on various independent features, shorts, documentaries and commercials that have appeared in television, new media and festivals across the world.
Klosse’s musical career began in 1999 as a trance music producer and remixer for norwegian dance label In.Disc. In 2000 he and his friend Kaj Väänänen signed with Finnish label Spinefarm Records and started recording and remixing under the name Alpha State. Many invaluable things were learnt during this time; working to tight deadlines and delivering on time.
Klosse’s ventures into the sound to picture field started in 2004 with the founding of media production company West Bay Entertainment together with writer/director Tobias Ahlgren. Klosse is a multi-skilled composer and sound supervisor with a keen understanding of dramatic nuance, and can write honestly in many musical styles and genres, from electronica to singer songwriter , from jazz to punk, from delicate waltzes to wild maqam pieces and high-octane blockbuster stuff. He delivers cool sounding material on time and his rates are very reasonable. You won’t be disappointed.
